CBR
CBR stands for Certified Buyer Representative. Any professional who has those initials after their name has received additional training that focuses on how to best support their buyer client(s) in their hunt for their new home. In other words, a CBR real estate agent is an agent specially trained to professionally represent buyers in their real estate transaction.
REO
Real estate owned or REO is a term used in the United States to describe a class of property owned by a lender—typically a bank, government agency, or government loan insurer—after an unsuccessful sale at a foreclosure auction.
Rental Agent
A rental agent performs duties related to managing rental properties and finding successful tenants to fill vacancies in rental properties. Rental agents may also provide services to existing tenants or assist with lease renewal.
1st Time Homeowner
HUD defines a first-time home-buyer as someone who has never owned a home before. An individual who has not owned a home for at least three years is also considered a first-time home-buyer.
Selling Agent
The listing agent is also sometimes referred to as the seller's agent. This is a real estate agent that is going to work exclusively with a seller. A seller will contact them and let them know that they want to sell their house. The listing agent will then set up a meeting with the seller. The listing agent will then evaluate the property and run a comparative market analysis on the home and will provide the seller with information. They will give the seller a ballpark range of their home's value. The listing agent and the seller will then come to an agreement as to how much to list the property for. The agent will then provide the seller with a contract to solidify the authority to represent the seller.
Veteran’s Agent
An agent who has experience working with military clients can help find the right home, with a special eye toward a veteran's specific situation. For instance, a VA-savvy agent can help disabled veterans find housing grants or a home with adaptive renovations so that they can live independently in a barrier-free environment.
VA loans offer some unbeatable advantages for military home buyers, like $0 down payment, no mortgage insurance, and more lenient credit underwriting. They’re certainly a more specialized loan product, but buying a home with this hard-earned benefit isn’t all that different from buying with other loan types.
Buying Agent
A buyer's agent is a licensed real estate agent who represents the buyer in a transaction. The buyer's agent has authority to act on behalf of the buyer in negotiating a Purchase and Sale Agreement with the seller's agent
